This time of year, if I haven’t already done my seasonal cleanse, I get ready and start to plan it. Actually, this time of year happens 4 times throughout my year because seasonally, when we go from Winter to Spring, Spring to Summer, Summer to Fall, and Fall to Winter, I clean my body/mind. Some people clean their houses, I do that, too, but not with the same commitment to the quarterly schedule.
Since I have been doing cleanses regularly, one thing that I notice is that each season, with each cleanse that I do, it seems the cleanse affects me more potently. I guess it makes sense, if I keep cleaning and cleaning… eventually I’m going to get rid of more and more “junk.” Just like with the house cleaning…
We all know how quickly things get accumulated in even the most diligent of homeowner’s basements, attics, and closets right? Well, in our body/minds it is also true that we accumulate. We accumulate in our mental closet. We accumulate in our tissue (skin, muscles, organs, etc.) and, to those of us who do work with people and their body’s, this can be felt when we touch or seen what we “look” with our more subtle senses. SO, what that means is that cleaning our physiology is of utmost importance in order to feel good in the “home” of our body/mind.
I recently did my Spring cleanse. I took a whole month and dragged my boyfriend into the process with me. (He wasn’t a vocal objector, in fact this time he was the most receptive and participatory of all the times! See, the cumulative effect of cleanses!) Each time I design the guidelines of what we will do to best impact us and what it feels like we need. This time we gave up sugar (We hardly eat “sugar,” but alcohol is sugar and there are lots of hidden sugars or sweets in processed foods. Again, we don’t eat many processed foods, but even good granola can have more sugar than one wants.), and really pulled back on the white flours including semolina breads and pastas (very painful for an Italian American girl!).
I am a doTERRA Wellness Advocate and really like many of their products, particularly the products that I use to do my cleanses. The cleanse takes place basically in 2 steps and, if you feel particularly “clogged” or “blocked,” the 2 steps can be repeated in order to do a deeper cleanse. First the list of products for the cleanse, then the steps I follow in very generic detail. Your personalized cleanse might look slightly or more significantly different.

Step 1 (10 Days)

Step 2 (Next 10 Days)
PB Assist with every meal; Terrazyme enzymes with every meal; V-Eomega with breakfast and lunch; Zendocrine Detoxification Blend Capsules with Breakfast and dinner: Zendocrine Detoxification Blend Essential Oil diluted with doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil and massaged every morning on liver and soles of feet; Daily or several nights a week Organic India Psyllium with juice choice made like a fibre pudding.
Last 10 Days
Continue with Zendocrine Detoxification Blend Essential Oil massage and Capsules until both are completed; Continue with PB Assist at a reduced dosage; Continue with Terrazyme enzymes with every meal; Continue with V-Eomega; and continue eliminating sugar; white flour products; and snacks.
If you want to repeat the cleanse, then instead of going from Step 2 to the Last 10 Days, repeat the entire cycle starting at Step 1 again and after the second round of Step 2, go the the Last 10 Days of the protocol to reacclimatize to a new way of eating in your happy, cleansed body!
